Vrunda Bhatt graduated from the Honor’s Physical Therapy program from Sikkim Manipal University Indai in 2010. In the last 9 years, she has gained tons of experience in various settings ranging from acute to chronic, working in acute care hospitals, long term care, outpatient clinics, and also in the community. She has helped patients with surgical conditions such as joint replacements, sports and orthopaedic injuries, such as strains, sprains and fractures, and a wide scope of neurological conditions, including cerebral palsy, muscular dystrophy, multiple sclerosis, spasticity and low tone.
She also takes special interest in stroke and brain injury Rehab. She keeps up with the most current techniques by taking educational courses and reviewing recent publications.
She practices the most evidence-based approaches to deliver safe, efficient and result based treatments. Vrunda uses combination of interventions including manual therapy, soft tissue and myofascial release, muscle energy strategies, joint mobilization, sensory integration, and exercises uniquely derived from yoga techniques.
When she is not studying or pursuing ongoing education, Vrunda can be found at the gym or enjoying outdoor sports including cycling and skiing. She also enjoys yoga and meditation and incorporates those principles in her patient care too. She can speak English, Hindi and Gujarati.
